Ferns
Medium care
This dainty fern stands out from other Adiantum species because of its outward-arching fronds and its ability to “walk”—new plants develop wherever the frond tips touch the ground. Its soft green leaflets and fine texture make it an attractive choice for indoor displays, humid corners, and naturalistic landscapes. With proper humidity and shade, it forms a lush, flowing green carpet.
Care guide
- Semi-shade, Full shade
- Requires more (consistently moist conditions)
- Provide a high-humidity environment and keep the soil moist but well-drained. Use porous, organic-rich soil with plenty of leaf mold. Protect from direct sunlight and extreme cold. Growth slows during winter and the plant may temporarily go dormant in very dry or cold weather, resprouting once conditions improve. Ideal near water features or in humid indoor spaces.
